Yakuza 3 Remastered: Bundle Exclusive or Buy Solo Before Feb 12

The Yakuza series took its time to catch on in the West, but with the release of some of its newer titles, it began to really make its mark on the English-speaking community. If you've been keeping up with the series, you might be interested in checking out some of the earlier titles, such as Yakuza 3 Remastered. There's a slight problem, though. RGG Studio is getting ready to release a remaster of the same title, with its new game, Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. Once that happens, the Remastered version will no longer be a separate purchase and will instead become exclusive to the all-in-one Yakuza bundle. Fortunately, you still have some time to snap up the remastered version before it vanishes into the collection. Now's your last chance to grab Yakuza 3 Remastered separately Once Kiwami 3 is out, you'll need to get the whole collection for the remaster As spotted by PC Gamer, RGG Studio made an announcement on its X account detailing what's happening with Yakuza 3 Remastered after Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties releases on February 12th. Once the newer game releases, the developers will be removing the remastered one from game stores. However, if you still want to play Yakuza 3 Remastered after the remake releases, you're not out of luck. Within the X post is this little nugget: Those who already own “Yakuza 3 Remastered” will still be able to continue playing it. For those new to the series who wish to experience the original version, it will be available with purchase of the “Yakuza Complete Series” bundle. So, it won't be going away forever. However, it will become a Yakuza Complete Series exclusive, which clocks in at a cool $130. And while I'd be one of the first to recommend the whole series to anyone, it's not ideal if you just want the single title. Here's the good news, though: Yakuza 3 Remastered will stay on storepages until February 12th. So, if you buy it now, you'll get to keep it as a separate game forever. Just be sure to pull the trigger on it before February 12th, when it becomes a bundle-exclusive.
