Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition: Global Launch Imminent

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra debuted in China as the first next-gen “Ultra” branded phone. But it wasn’t alone, as the brand also unveiled the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition for the photography enthusiasts. While other Ultra models like the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Vivo X300 Ultra, and Find X9 Ultra have yet to be released, Xiaomi’s 17 Ultra Leica Edition appears to be nearing its global launch. Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition visits Thailand’s NBTC The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition just surfaced on Thailand’s NBTC database, carrying the 25128PNA1G model number. This listing appears alongside other Xiaomi 17 series entries, including the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and shows the Leica Edition marked under the Cellular Mobile (GSM/WCDMA/LTE/NR) category. This points toward official sales in Thailand and potentially other international markets. Alongside the NBTC sighting, IMDA certifications in Singapore further reinforce that this Leica-branded variant could soon go on sale outside China, where the model originally debuted in December 2025 as an exclusive photography-centric flagship. Based on what we know so far, the device features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a tall 6.9-inch 120Hz OLED display, and a massive 6,800mAh battery pack with 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. But what really sets this device apart is the Leica tuned triple camera setup on the rear. This camera setup consists of a 1-inch 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra wide angle lens, and a large 200MP periscope telephoto shooter.
