WWE Raw Shocker: Star Turns Heel in Belfast!

A WWE star has turned heel during tonight’s January 19 episode of Raw emanating from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Tonight’s show played host to the latest instalment in the rivalry between Becky Lynch and Maxxine Dupri over the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. However, supposedly to make sure Lynch was unable to cheat, Natalya – who has been a mentor to Dupri in recent months – came out to ringside with Dupri. Lynch ended up retaining the Women’s IC Title over Dupri in their match with Natalya ultimately costing Dupri the match by putting Lynch’s foot on the rope as Dupri was attempting a pin. Natalya then repeatedly attacked Dupri post-match in the ring despite the referee trying to pull her away and restrain her, cementing a heel turn in the process. Over the past year, Natalya has been competing outside of WWE mainline events as Nattie Neidhart, with a more aggressive style and presentation. There had always been questions about when that side of her would make its way onto WWE TV, and it appears tonight was the start of that process.
