Unfortunate Injury Forces Early Stoppage of WWE RAW Match

An unfortunate injury to a young superstar led to a match getting stopped prematurely on WWE RAW. After defeating Rayo and Bravo Americano in previous episodes, new WWE RAW Superstar Je’Von Evans took on El Grande Americano on this week’s episode. Both superstars started well, but the match ended prematurely after Evans sustained an injury during the commercial break. A doctor was seen examining the Young OG’s condition, and when the show came back on air, referee Jessica Carr called for the bell and awarded the match to El Grande Americano. WWE RAW commentators Michael Cole and Corey Graves mentioned that they will provide the fans with a medical update on Je’Von Evans soon. The doctor and the referee helped Evans to the back. While it wasn’t clear which part of his body sustained the damage, Cole pointed out that Evans was favoring his right upper chest/shoulder area. Je’Von Evans officially became a part of the WWE RAW roster on the January 5 episode. While fans and wrestling personalities predicted a bright future for the Young OG on the red brand, the injury might cause a major setback in his progress.
