Tragic Single-Vehicle Crash in Wexford Claims Life of 67-Year-Old Man

The first responders were met with a single-vehicle collision at a junction in the Maudlins, New Ross, where a 67-year-old man is believed to have suffered a medical emergency whilst driving a black jeep at approximately 1pm on Tuesday, January 20. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. An Garda Síochána confirmed there were no other cars or people involved in the incident. The road (L4007) remains closed for a forensic investigation to be carried out. Any witnesses with information are asked to contact New Ross Garda Station on (051) 426 030.
