The gathering took place on Wilmslow Road, known locally at the Curry Mile, in Rusholme on yesteday evening. According to the Manchester Evening News people attended as part of a "protest" in relation to the Syrian conflict opposing government troops and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces.
