A while later on Sunday, Fightful reports confirmation that AEW released Miguel from his contract. Miguel was noticeably absent from the Rascalz on-screen debut for Collision, which was filmed on Wednesday (Jan. 14, 2026) at the Dynamite session. Wentz, Dez, and Reed were shown emerging from a smoked out locker room with a message that they will take on the best tag teams and the best trios that AEW has to offer. Miguel wrestled in TNA for over seven years. He won the X-Division Championship twice and the TNA tag titles once with Wentz.
