TABORA: THE Minerals Commission of Tabora Region has played a key role in the official launch of Community Social Responsibility (CSR) projects in Igunga District, aimed at improving education and access to clean water for local communities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nehemia Mudala, the Tabora region’s Resident Mining Officer, urged mining companies to continue prioritizing CSR investments in villages surrounding mining operations.
He also highlighted the importance of transparency, accountability, and proper maintenance of project infrastructure to guarantee long-term benefits for communities.
Mtondoo praised TAUR Tanzanian LTD and mining sector stakeholders for their contributions to the social and economic development of Igunga residents.
