An annual panel, centered this year on the Alfred P. Sloan feature film prize winner, In the Blink of An Eye. The talk will feature the film’s director Andrew Stanton and screenwriter Colby Day, Dr. Ariel Ekblaw, co-founder and CEO of the Aurelia Institute, Dr. Denise Su, ASU Institute of Human Origins with moderation duties handled by neuroscientist Dr. Heather Berlin. The Alfred P. Sloan prize is presented to a feature film “focusing on science or technology as a theme or depicting a scientist, engineer or mathematician as a major character. It comes with a $25,000 cash reward from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, which will be presented at a reception following the panel.
