Remembering the Life and Legacy of Sr. Teresa (Cecily) Delaney

Stella Maria, Galway and Gortnagine, Dunmore, Co. Galway Sr. Teresa, Stella Maria Sisters, Galway, and Convent of Mercy Tuam and Dunmore, died peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Enda’s Ward, UHG on January 17th, surrounded by her community and family. Predeceased by her parents, Michael Delaney and Celia Delaney (Connolly), her sister Mary, her brothers Padraig and Joe. Fondly remembered and deeply mourned by the Sisters of Mercy, Western Branch, especially the Stella Maria Community, her sisters Frances (Hayes) and Kathleen (Nolan), her nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. May She Rest In Peace Reposing at Stella Maria (H91 XY93) from 3.30.pm to 5.00 pm on January 22nd (Thursday). Arrival on January 23rd (Friday) at Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam (H54 WP66) for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the Convent Cemetery, Tuam.
