Sienna DeLucia Earns Little East Rookie Diver of the Week Again

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the fourth time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Sienna DeLucia has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Rookie Diver of the Week. DeLucia earned top honors in the one-meter diving competition with a career-best score of 270.05 points as the Bears hosted a tri-meet this past weekend with Brandeis and Keene State. The rookie also qualified for the Division III Northeast/North Regional Diving Championships with her performance on the one-meter board. A native of Wallingford, Connecticut, DeLucia also earneed Little East Rookie Diver of the Week honors on November 3rd, November 10th and December 8th. All told since 2022, the Bears have accumulated 22 LEC Rookie Diver of the Week accolades on the women's side. The BSU women's swimming and diving team is back in action on Saturday (Jan. 24) as the Bears travel to Babson College to take on the Beavers at 11:00 AM.
