Urgent SANDF Probe Demanded After Warship Reports

JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance and ActionSA have both called for an urgent probe following reports that Iranian warships took part in naval exercises in Simon’s Town, against President Cyril Ramaphosa's orders that they be excluded. ActionSA has written to Parliament’s Joint Standing Committee on Defence, warning that any deliberate failure by senior SANDF officials to comply with lawful presidential instructions would amount to a serious breach of the constitutional chain of command.
