Robyn Lockyer Named Co-Head of Stewardship at Impax Asset Management

Robyn Lockyer has been appointed co-head of stewardship at Impax Asset Management. Lockyer has been with the UK sustainability-focused manager for nearly five years, most recently as a senior associate, sustainability and stewardship. Jiska Klein has been appointed as ASN Impact Investors’ new head of sustainability. Klein joins the Dutch manager from Asper Investment Management where she was for more than four years, most recently as its head of sustainability. Sylvain Vanston has recently left MSCI “following a reorganisation of some sustainability-related teams”, he said in a LinkedIn post. Vanston joined MSCI in November 2021 and served as global head of climate and biodiversity investment research. MSCI had not replied to a request for comment at the time of publication. Stanley Kwong has been made director, sustainable investing for Europe at KKR. Kwong has been with the US private equity firm since 2021 as principal, sustainable investing Europe. Candice Thorpe has been promoted to head of sustainable investing data and analytics at Aviva Investors. Thorpe has been with the firm for more than seven years. Nina Pimblett has joined L&G Asset Management as a senior analyst, investment stewardship, focused on climate and nature. Pimblett joins the UK manager from Just Group where she was responsible investment manager. Laura Waterford has joined Commonwealth Bank as senior manager, nature strategy. Waterford was previously at Pollination for over five years, most recently as executive director. The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has opened applications for the next term of its technical council. Established in 2023, the council reviews, approves and recommends SBTi standards, normative guidance and methods. The deadline to apply is 26 February. Cordelia Dower-Tylee has been promoted to senior sustainable investment analyst at EdenTree Investment Management. Dower-Tylee has been with the firm since 2022, most recently as a responsible investment analyst. Katherine Collins has stepped down as head of sustainable investing at Putnam Investments, a subsidiary of Franklin Templeton. Collins has been succeeded by Stephanie Dobson, who has been with the firm since 2017. Norah Berk has been named senior engagement specialist, nature at Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC). Berk has been with the investor network since January 2023 as senior programme manager, nature. Staying with IIGCC, Leo Donnachie has been promoted to senior policy specialist, sustainable finance. Donnachie joined from PwC in 2021 as sustainable finance lead. IIGCC is also hiring for a policy programme director on a one-year fixed term contract for a maternity cover. Burnside is head of product, sustainability and governance at M&G Investments. Laura Devenney has been promoted to manager, ESG engagement at Boston Trust Walden. Devenney has been with the US investor since 2019 as a senior ESG analyst. Robert Balázs has joined DKB as senior manager sustainability, strategy & governance, carbon accounting & transition. Balázs has joined the German credit bank from Deloitte where he was senior consultant sustainable finance, FSI audit & assurance. Renske Maas has been named senior ESG risk specialist at ABN AMRO Bank. Maas first joined the Dutch bank in 2024 as senior adviser ESG regulation & implementation, Basel Centre. Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) is recruiting for a responsible investing manager – climate lead to join its capital department. Based in London, the successful applicant’s responsibilities will include conducting analysis of physical and transition risks associated with investment opportunities and using that analysis to support the investment teams in their due diligence.
