Rihanna's Bold Mismatched Layers Steal the Show at SNL After-Party

Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky never fail to serve up a strong couple's look. And last night at the Saturday Night Live after-party in New York City was no different when the singer and rapper stepped out together following the show wearing coordinated funky looks. A confidently maximalist patchwork of color blocking and mismatched textures, Rihanna's look was all about the layers. She rocked a knee-length black silk skirt along with two-toned brown suede and black knee-high heeled boots. On the top, she layered a fuzzy fur coat over a beige and navy sports jacket. A navy New York Yankees cap, layered choker necklaces, a blue suede bag, and black shades completed the look. There was a certainly a lot going on, but there was also a distinctive method to the madness, with the navys, blacks, and shades of brown complementing each other perfectly. Rocky, on the other hand, wore light wash blue jeans and various shades of red: dark red leather shoes, a red V-neck sweater, and a funky long printed coat. Rihanna was there to support her partner as he made his musical guest debut on Saturday Night Live. He began with his song "Punk Rocky," before returning to the stage to perform a medley of "Helicopter" and "Don't Be Dumb." He also made a surprise appearance in a sketch alongside host Finn Wolfhard and surprise guest Sabrina Carpenter, who rocked an auburn curly wig.
