Rihanna’s security guard has been a Rude Boy. The music superstar was caught off guard when a man entrusted to protect her couldn’t show her the simplest of courtesies. After exiting New York City’s Four Seasons on Friday, the security guard didn’t hold open the door for the pop and R&B star, leaving her to get hit by it. The unnamed person didn’t bother to look back upon opening the door to Rihanna’s surprise and disgust. The Grammy Award winner isn’t the only one surprised by the lack of courtesy. Her security guard left her to get hit by the flinging door upon leaving the hotel. The moment that went viral prompted the SOS singer to sarcastically remark, “Such a gentleman you are,” to the man in front of her. Upon seeing the video online, her fans were quick to come to her defense while blasting the mystery person. There were calls for him to be fired for failing to do what many would deem a common courtesy, regardless of one’s status. Some believe that may be that person’s last day on the job.
