The 49-year-old male driver of the Kia Carnival died at the scene from his injuries.
His 26-year-old male passenger was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The right turning lane was partially blocked before the incident was cleared about 3.25pm.
Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are examining the scene and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam or mobile phone footage to come forward.
