Redmi Turbo 5 Max: Massive 9,000mAh Battery and Design Unveiled

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand will expand its Turbo line with the new Turbo 5 Max smartphone. The upcoming handset will feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip. Before the phone makes its official debut, the company has confirmed the battery capacity and design of the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. The phone will feature a whopping 9,000mAh battery In a fresh Weibo post, the company confirmed the Redmi Turbo 5 Max will pack a whopping 9,000mAh battery, keeping up with the current industry trend of bigger cells. In another Weibo post, they claimed the battery achieves a battery life that’s comparable to 10,000mAh. For comparison, the company’s last year’s model, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, features a 7,550mAh cell. The more expensive Xiaomi 17 Ultra gets a 6,800mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Redmi has yet to confirm the charging speeds of the Turbo 5 Max. Redmi Turbo 5 Max design also shown off Besides confirming the battery size, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max design has also been revealed via official render images. We see the phone in the Ocean Breeze Blue colorway. The handset will feature a CNC metal frame and a fiberglass rear panel. There’s a pill-shaped camera module to house dual rear sensors. We see “OIS Cam” and “50MP” text engraved right beside the module.
