realme P4 Pro Arrives in India with a Colossal 10001mAh Battery

realme has announced its latest smartphone – the P4 Pro – which sports an massive battery. It features a 10 001mAh battery, which realme says is the first of its kind for India, where it is intended to be launched. There is no word just yet if other regions will get the P4 Pro too. When we pour over the specifications of mid-range smartphones these days, the size of the battery is one component that continues to be improved with regularity. While a 6 000mAh battery is quite common these days, realme has just blown all that out the water with a new 10 001mAh battery as part of its latest smartphone – the P4 Pro 5G. Called the Titan battery, it is the defining feature of this new smartphone. For now, the P4 Pro 5G looks destined for India alone, with the device set to launch in the country on 29th January, as well as retailing for 99 999 Indian Rupees (~R18k). While realme does have a presence in South Africa, it is unclear at this stage whether this new device will land locally.The same goes for other regions where realme operates. Back to the battery, and realme has unpacked just how many hours of use you can muster for different tasks with the 10 001mAh unit. Here, it listed that the P4 Pro 5G can do the following: Standby – 932.6 hours, Music – 185.7 hours, Navigation – 21.3 hours, YouTube – 32.5 hours, Battlegrounds Mobile – 11.67 hours, Call of Duty Mobile – 72.3 hours. Interestingly, two mobile games are listed to highlight the battery performance of the P4 Pro 5G, so it is clear that realme is aiming it at a younger audience. For those concerned about the integrity of the battery, it also comes with a four year guarantee, that the battery health will not fall below 80 percent. Added to this is a 5-star battery certification from TÜV Rheinland, as well as being the world’s first 10 000mAh phone battery to pass military-grade testing. t will be interesting to see whether other brands look to push the boundaries for mid-range phone batteries in 2026, but for now, realme is setting the early pace.
