Princess Eugenie Reportedly Halts Communication With Father Andrew Amid Epstein Scandal Fallout

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, is reportedly no longer on speaking terms with his daughter Princess Eugenie. The 35-year-old mother of two has allegedly cut off contact with her father, 65, amid renewed interest in his connection to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to a report published Saturday, January 17, by the Daily Mail. The former Duke of York, who was stripped of his royal titles and duties late last year by King Charles III, is said to be “devastated” by Eugenie’s decision to not speak to him nor visit him at Christmas. The Mail’s source compares their estrangement to that of Brooklyn Beckham’s with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, who allegedly took the family drama to Instagram. (Brooklyn’s brother, Cruz Beckham, claimed via a December Instagram Story, per People, that his family was blocked by the 26-year-old, and Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz appears to have wiped her Instagram clean of the Beckhams.) “There is no contact at all, nothing,” the source claimed of Eugenie’s relationship with Andrew. “It’s Brooklyn Beckham level — she has completely cut him off.” Meanwhile, Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, is “trying to walk the fine line of not cutting her father off and yet remaining close with the Royal Family,” the source said of the 37-year-old, who invited her parents Andrew and Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson to the baptism of her daughter Athena Elizabeth Rose in December. Andrew and Beatrice “aren’t exactly in regular and close contact at the moment,” the source explained, “but Eugenie isn’t trying to walk that line.” Andrew and Fergie, 66, have come under fire in recent months due to their longtime connection to Epstein following the release of Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir and parts of the Epstein files.
