The outlet reported that removal vans have come and gone from Royal Lodge in recent days. It is a sign that the eviction process is now at play. Royal Lodge, a 30-room Crown Estate property in Windsor, has been Andrew’s home since 2004. With a house of that size, the packing job appears significant. The Express reported that items have been taken to a lock-up near Bermondsey. Moreover, according to the report, it remains unclear whether the storage unit will be a brief stop while Andrew relocates to a new place, or whether some items will stay there due to a smaller new property. The Express also cited The Sun, which reported that the storage unit has round-the-clock guard protection and CCTV. Besides, the company operating the unit reportedly holds a royal warrant and stores high-value belongings, including artwork. Though the vans are doing their job, Andrew has not yet officially vacated the Royal Lodge. He may reportedly stay there for only a few more days, though. Plans are allegedly in motion for him to move to King Charles’ Sandringham estate as a temporary accommodation, while he waits for Marsh Farm to be ready.
