Orbit to Riches Demo: Blast Off with This Idle Space Adventure on Steam

Indie developer ThinKING Cat Games has released a playable demo for Orbit to Riches, an idle / incremental space game now available on Steam. Orbit to Riches is focused on destroying asteroids that orbit a planet in dense rings. Players control a ship to mine asteroids, collect resources, and unlock permanent upgrades that improve damage, range, automation, and special weapons. The demo features a complete short progression run lasting around 20–30 minutes, with no forced timed stages. Upgrades and research can be accessed at any time, allowing players to progress at their own pace. In the full game, Orbit to Riches expands on this foundation with: Multiple ships, each with different weapons and support systems A ship leveling system with unique upgrade choices Idle mining, where unused ships generate resources in the background Deep space missions that unlock rare campaign-level resources Long-term meta progression across multiple runs Orbit to Riches began as part of a prototype-a-week challenge on itch.io, where it stood out as the most promising concept. It is now being developed into a full Steam release with improved visuals, deeper systems, and expanded progression. The demo is currently available in English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
