OPPO Reno15 Series Launches in South Africa This Month!

OPPO South Africa is preparing to launch a new lineup of devices with the Reno15 series. There are two models expected, with a standard and Pro version. A local launch event is scheduled for 28th January. The end of January/beginning of February is set to be a busy time for the South African smartphone market, as a number of new devices are scheduled to land locally. One company planning a launch around that time is OPPO, with the smartphone maker announcing that its latest Reno15 series is taking a bow on 28th January. At the time of writing, OPPO SA has not confirmed what the recommended pricing or in-store availability will be for the Reno15 series, with there being no mention at this stage on how many models are landing in South Africa. We do know that globally, OPPO has two models within the series, with a standard Reno15 5G and Reno15 Pro 5G. Based on the image in the header, which is also featured on the local OPPO website, the Pro versions look locked in for a South African debut. Having launched several iterations in the Reno lineup in SA, OPPO is hoping this latest offering proves a success too. “Building on the success of the Reno14, the Reno15 Series strengthens what has made the Reno stand out in the premium mid-tier segment. As always, pricing will prove a significant factor in the success of the Reno15 series, as the premium mid-range space is as competitive as ever in SA.
