An editor stated in a note that they chose to “use AI assistance in structuring this article” but claimed that their investigation was legitimate. However, OnePlus responded to multiple speculative reports that made similar claims of a business shutdown. “I wanted to address some misinformation that has been circulating about OnePlus India and its operations. We’re operating as usual and will continue to do so. Never Settle.,” Liu posted on social media platform X on January 21, along with a graphic. The image post stated: “Recent unverified reports claiming OnePlus is shutting down are false. OnePlus India’s business operations continue as normal. We urge all stakeholders to verify information from official sources before sharing unsubstantiated claims.”
