New Zealand clinched their first one-day international series win in India with a 41-run victory in the deciding third match. Daryl Mitchell's 137 and Glenn Phillips' 106 helped the tourists post 337-8 in Indore, which proved beyond India despite Virat Kohli's 124 - a record-extending 54th ODI century. Successive deliveries by Zak Foulkes proved key as he claimed the wickets of Harshit Rana, who had reached 52, and Mohammed Siraj for a duck. Two overs later, Kohli was caught by Mitchell at long-off and the hosts were eventually bowled out for 296 in 46 overs as they fell to a 2-1 series defeat.
