NPP's Karbo Exposes Pastors Using Poll Data for Fake Election Prophecies

Anthony Abayifaa Karbo, Senior Advisor to the Bawumia Campaign, has stated that most of the prophecies made by Ghanaian pastors concerning elections in the country are fake. He claimed that while in opposition, the NPP allegedly gave pastors poll data to shape their election prophecies. Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM on January 19, 2026, he argued that he believes in polls more than in the prophecies of pastors. Anthony Abayifaa Karbo further stated that he would not mention the names of the pastors involved, but he can confirm that they were being fed with data. “Today, I have been seeing the prophets prophesying about things, but when we were in opposition, we were giving them the polls data to prophesy.
