Eastern NPP Chairman Backs Bryan Acheampong for Flagbearer

The Eastern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jeff Konadu Addo, has urged party delegates to support and vote for Dr. Bryan Acheampong in the upcoming presidential primaries, describing him as the best candidate to lead the party to victory in the 2028 general elections. Mr. Konadu Addo said Dr. Acheampong played a key role in financing the NPP’s campaign activities in the Eastern Region during the 2024 general elections, offering support to parliamentary candidates as well as regional and constituency executives. According to him, Dr. Acheampong’s financial contributions and overall commitment to the growth and success of the party justify elevating him to the position of flagbearer ahead of the 2028 polls. Addressing NPP delegates from Lower Manya, Yilo Krobo, Upper Manya, and Asuogyaman, collectively known as the Krobo Bloc, at Odumase Krobo, the Eastern Regional Chairman reaffirmed his strong endorsement of Dr. Acheampong. He indicated that Dr. Acheampong’s election strategy and financial backing during the 2024 elections were critical to the NPP’s strong performance and victory in the Eastern Region, even as other regions struggled financially. “As other regions were falling financially, the Eastern Region remained strong due to the financial investment he supported us with. I urge everyone not to be afraid when anyone threatens you. Let everyone go with a good heart and vote for Dr. Bryan Acheampong,” he said.
