Nobat Unleashes Fury: Abtex Accused of Misusing Government Funds

Promoter Nobat of Nobat Events explodes in fury over alleged government funding to fellow promoters. Tension is boiling over in Uganda’s entertainment circles after renowned events promoter Nobat publicly expressed deep frustration with Abbey Musinguzi, better known as Abtex, the acting president of the Federation of Uganda Promoters Association. According to him, the association alledgy received a substantial government payout recently which was intended to cushion promoters who’ve been struggling recover from heavy financial losses and stabilize their operations, but he claims the money never reached the people it was meant for. Instead, he claims Abtex pushed forward unknown promoters and even some of his girlfriends to receive the funds. Nobat feels cheated, sidelined, and disrespected given the fact that he’s among the top five promoters who fit the criteria for support, especially after suffering losses on nearly every show he has organised in recent months. Promoter Nobat vows to pursue his share of the money by hook or crook, and in his own words, he’s ready to do “whatever it takes” or else, they’ll both meet one on one and have a fierce talk.
