37 With the Sankranthi season coming to an end, all the new releases have now entered the weekday phase. Once again, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu has emerged as the top choice for moviegoers. On Tuesday, the film collected a distributor share of Rs. 46 lakhs in Nizam. Naveen Polishetty’s rural entertainer Anaganaga Oka Raju reported a share of Rs. 26 lakhs in Nizam yesterday, while Sharwanand’s rom-com entertainer Nari Nari Naduma Murari amassed a share of Rs. 23 lakhs in the same territory. As expected, all three films are witnessing drops during weekdays in Nizam. However, they are likely to regain momentum over the upcoming long weekend, aided by the Republic Day holiday on Monday. With no major releases lined up over the next few weeks, the Sankranthi releases should see a steady run at the box office.
