Nicola Peltz Accused of Decade-Long Fame Pursuit by Ex's Sister

Nicola Peltz is catching some heat from her ex’s sister who claims that “she’s been trying to be famous for a decade.” Alana Hadid, Anwar Hadid’s older sister, took to Instagram to comment on a post about the ongoing drama between Peltz and husband Brooklyn Beckham’s family on Thursday, January 22, writing, “Right and that girl doesn’t want privacy she’s been trying to be famous for a decade.” More from SheKnows Nicola Peltz Beckham’s Dark Past Called Out by Ex-Stylist: ‘I Think She’s the Issue’ Alana, who is also an older sister of models Gigi and Bella Hadid, referenced Brooklyn’s January 19 Instagram statement about parents David and Victoria Beckham, responding to another commenter who wrote, “Ending an eight paragraph rant about his family’s dirty laundry with ‘all we want is privacy’ is all I need to know.” Nicola, 31, previously dated Anwar, 26, from 2016 to 2018, before moving on with Brooklyn, 26, whom she married in 2022. After their relationship, reports alleged that Anwar’s family, including mom Yolanda Hadid, had a strained relationship with Nicola and disapproved of their age gap. Nicola has remained silent after her husband took to social media to respond to speculation about tensions in his family. “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed,” he wrote via his Instagram Story. “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.” Brooklyn alleged that his family have, for years, “controlled narratives in the press” through “performative social meda posts.” He alleged that his parents have been trying to “ruin” his marriage, making claims about their behavior leading up to and during his and Nicola’s wedding.
