Exciting New Businesses Set to Launch in Tipperary Town

Several new businesses are to open in the coming weeks in Tipperary town – some in units that have been vacant for a number of years. Dalton Plumbing supplies are now trading from the Limerick Road in the premises formerly operated by PJ Burns plumbing – Mr Burns is deferring his retirement to help the brother and sister team, Maria and Paddy Dalton to get established. The two Tipp Town natives intend to open a bathroom showroom in the former Pit Stop Tyres building on the Link Road later this year. Eamonn Ryan Cooper is to open a Sherry Fitzgerald real estate office in Bank Place in the coming weeks. Nico’s takeaway in Cappawhite is seeking planning permission for a change of use for the Prime 74 building at 74 Main street to open a food business operating on a take away basis only. In addition, Marion Carey is to open Golden Vale Performing Arts in a unit on Blind street. Work has been ongoing in recent weeks to install a specialised floor to enable a range of dance classes such as Irish Dance, Social dancing for adults and Pilates. Golden Vale Performing arts will also offer yoga, music lessons and classes in musical theatre with programmes beginning in the first week of February. Ms Carey has been operating at the CJ Kickham Band Hall on Davis Street.
