FAIRBANKS - The Nanooks hockey team cruised to a 4-1 win over their in-state rivals Alaska Anchorage on Saturday, Jan. 17. With the win, the Nanooks have a 4-2 points advantage over UAA in the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup standings.

The Nanooks struck first, needing just 3:43 to make it 1-0. Misha Danylov scored on an early power-play opportunity for Alaska. Rylen Roersma and Hugo Marcil earned the assists on the opening goal.
