Never one to stick with one look for too long, the Stranger Things actress has gone from brown to blonde to pink to red over the years. She's also served up just about every length possible, from XXL mermaid waves to short, chic bob. And that's not even including her many, many hair looks as Eleven in Stranger Things. Brown's latest look is probably one of her shortest crops yet. Appearing at the Joy Awards in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on January 17, the actress debuted an ultra short tousled bob, which came to just past her ears. She wore the choppy bob in a subtle side part, tucked casually behind her ears. The look comes after Brown debuted another chop earlier this year—a cute, sophisticated brunette lob, to be precise. Just one month earlier, the actress had rocked super long dark red waves for the Stranger Things season 5 press tour. And, before that, she had cycled through various blonde looks, paying homage to Britney Spears in a series of social media posts and a red carpet updo, before channeling Pamela Anderson with a messy bun. Then came a brief bubblegum pink phase. Brown was honored with the Personality of the Year award at the Joy Awards. She wore a glamorous silver sequined gown with a plunging scooped cowl neck and delicate floral appliqué details from Tamara Ralph's fall/winter 2025 collection for the red carpet. She completed the elegant look with giant drop diamond earrings and a classic red lip.
