Xiaomi has announced one of its most powerful air purifier to date, the Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max. With an impressive 1,006.5 m³/h particle CADR, Xiaomi said it can clean the air in a 10 m²-sized room in 1.6 minutes. That’s approximately the size of a small bedroom ( ). For larger spaces, Xiaomi it takes about 4 minutes for a typical 25 m2 master bedroom and 6.4 minutes for a 40 m2 living room. It has a of 63 to 108 m2, the air purifier is well-suited for most 3-room to 5-room HDB flats or condominium apartments. Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max’s dual-filter and dual UVC The air purifier has a dual-filter design, comprising an upper and lower dual-filter system for enhanced performance. Each filter contains 300,000mg of carbon to remove formaldehyde, toluene, and other common household smells, including second-hand smoke. Real-time disinfection is handled by two built-in UVC modules, which are said to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria and viruses in indoor air. The air purifier is also SGS allergen certified for effective removal of common allergens, such as pollen, dust, and mould.
