Michael Zheng Faces Corentin Moutet in Australian Open Tonight

MELBOURNE – Columbia men's tennis senior Michael Zheng continues his run in the Australian Open when he meets Corentin Moutet of France. Zheng and Moutet are scheduled to begin play at 10:30 p.m. on Court 6. ​ Zheng, the two-time national champion, earned his first-ever Grand Slam singles victory when he upset fellow American Sebastian Korda in five sets, 6-4, 6-4, 3-6, 6-7(7), 6-3 in the opening round of the Australian Open last Saturday. ​ Moutet, who is currently ranked No. 37 in the most recent ATP rankings, advanced to the second round after defeating Australian Tristan Schoolkate, 6-4, 7-6(1), 6-3. ​ The Australian Open main draw will be primarily televised in the U.S. on ESPN and ESPN2, with extensive live streaming on ESPN+ for all courts.
