Types of funding We aspire to collaborate with our partners, ensuring that our grant making aligns with their needs and goals. Organisational Funding - Unrestricted Project Funding - Restricted Partnerships can be either direct or indirect. Standard grants are a maximum of 4 years. Typically, new partnerships begin with a 1 year trial grant. Our criteria We will only consider applications that align with both our sectors & regions as detailed in our strategy. We will only work with organisations that demonstrate a commitment to our values. We do not support individuals (for example, sponsorships). We do not support religious or political causes. The sectors in which organisations should work include sport, education, sustainable livelihoods and environmental stewardship, and health and social care. Organisations working in the following African and European countries are eligible to apply: Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Medicor Foundation tends to fund organisations with which it has no prior relationship for a one-year trial grant, with standard grants lasting up to four years per funding cycle. Grant sizes are discretionary, and expressions of interest can be submitted at any time via the Medicor Foundation website. Application Process We accept applications throughout the year. If you meet our criteria, please submit an expression of interest to: [email protected] We will try to respond to your enquiry as soon as possible. However, due to a high amount of applications and our thorough due diligence process, we may need extended time before providing you with feedback. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applications that fall outside of our strategy or do not meet any of the criteria outlined above.
