Bungie Confirms Marathon Release Date: Everything You Need to Know

Sony-owned gaming studio Bungie has confirmed the launch date for its next shooting title, Marathon. The upcoming multiplayer shooter game is set on the colony of Tau Ceti. Bungie has released a new gameplay trailer introducing Gantry, a MIDA faction agent, as one of the characters players will encounter. The trailer reveals how factions and their agents will drive the story, with players completing contracts for six factions to learn about their identities, motivations, and rivalries while uncovering mysteries about Tau Ceti's fate. As per the trailer, Marathon combines world design, gameplay, and discoverable narrative elements. Players will unlock entries in a Codex by completing contracts, finding narrative items, and achieving various objectives.
