Man Utd Transfer News: £39m Deal Nearing Completion, Liverpool Interested in Defender

Gianluigi Donnarumma's agent has admitted the Manchester City star would be open to heading back to Serie A just six months after his move to England. The Italian joined City in the summer in a £26million transfer from Paris Saint-Germain. Despite settling in well and establishing himself as Pep Guardiola's No. 1, the keeper's agent has dropped a stunning transfer bombshell by claiming his client would seize the chance to head back to Italy if a suitable offer arose. Werder Bremen director Clemens Fritz also rubbished claims that Leeds could be signing Schmid this month. He told German publication BILD: “No one has contacted us about Romano. We are currently not expecting a transfer in the winter and are planning with him for the rest of the season.” Manchester United have been urged to snub 'flavour of the month' Morgan Rogers and instead sign a number six like Moises Caicedo. Former United striker Dwight Yorke believes that stability is needed in the middle of the pitch, rather than another forward option. Oleksandr Zinchenko looks to be on his way to Ajax with his loan at Nottingham Forest from Arsenal set to be cut short. The Ukraine left-back has made only four Premier League starts this term. Forest are prepared to let Zinchenko go but have no clause to faciliate a move. A switch to the Eredivisie could see Arsenal call him back to move on, according to reports.
