Woman Suffers Serious Injuries After Llandudno BMW Collision; Man Arrested

Police say the woman has suffered 'serious injuries' A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Llandudno today. At 11:43am, police were informed of a collision involving a pedestrian and a Blue BMW 1 series on Charlotte Road, outside of B&Q. Emergency services attended the area. The pedestrian was taken to hospital, where she remains this evening. A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and currently remains in custody whilst enquiries are ongoing. The road was closed for initial collision investigation work but has since been re-opened. Sergeant Alun Jones of the Roads Crime Unit said: “I urge anyone who witnessed the collision and hasn’t already spoken to police to contact us. “Additionally, anybody who was travelling in the nearby area prior to the collision and may have dash-cam footage is asked to get in touch with officers.” Anyone with information that could assist our investigation should contact officers at the Roads Crime Unit, either via the website or by calling 101, quoting reference number O009895.
