Je'Von Evans' WWE Raw Match Halted Due to Injury

It was just a few weeks ago that Je’Von Evans got the call to join the WWE main roster, inking a contract to become a member of the Monday Night Raw brand. Sure, it happened during a commercial break but it’s still been obvious for some time that the sky is the limit for the high flying young star. Unfortunately, his brief run on the red brand took a rough turn on this week’s episode in Belfast when his match against El Grande Americano was stopped due to injury. There’s still confusion as to when exactly he suffered the aforementioned injury. The match was seemingly moving along just fine before going to a commercial break. When they returned from that break, the bell was ringing and the announcer was calling the match off. Evans was then taken to the back while favoring his arm/shoulder. We’ll have to wait for an update on his condition. The timing of this is horrendous, considering we are mere weeks away from Royal Rumble, a match Evans could make a real impact in as he continues his rise up the ranks.
