Infinix Note Edge Officially Launched: Dimensity 7100 Power & Ultra-Slim Design

The Infinix Note Edge that we teased a few days ago is now fully official. The phone is 7.2mm thick, weighs 185g, and is powered by MediaTek's recently announced Dimensity 7100 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. There's a curved 6.78-inch screen with "1.5K" resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,800Hz touch sampling rate, symmetrical ultra-narrow 1.87mm bezels, 4,500-nit peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 7i on top, dual JBL stereo speakers, and a 6,500 mAh battery or a 6,150 mAh battery (the capacity is market-dependent). Infinix promises it will retain at least 80% of its initial capacity after 2,000 charge cycles, or about six years of use. The phone charges at up to 45W, going from 1% to 100% in 62 minutes. It runs XOS 16 based on Android 16, a first for Infinix. The company promises three major Android updates and five years of security patches for the Note Edge. On the rear there's a 50MP main camera using a 1/2-inch type sensor, and on the side there's a customizable button that can instantly activate Infinix's Folax AI assistant. The Infinix Note Edge is IP65 certified for dust and splash resistance. It will start from $200 and it comes in Lunar Titanium, Silk Green, Stellar Blue, and Shadow Black. We have no idea what happened to the bright orange model we showcased last week. The Silk Green colorway comes with Infinix's polyurethane water-wave brushed texture, which the company says draws inspiration from silk to create "a leather-like surface with silky smoothness". The other colors utilize "high-strength composite materials infused with cat's-eye gem effects, producing layered, premium matte finishes that shift elegantly with light and angle", according to the official press release.
