Infinix GT 50 Pro Surfaces on Geekbench with Android 16 and Dimensity 8400

The Infinix GT 50 Pro has appeared on Geekbench, revealing key specifications ahead of its official launch. The device, carrying model number X6891, will likely be Infinix’s next gaming phone and the successor to last year’s GT 30 Pro. According to the benchmark listing, the GT 50 Pro will run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor. The chip configuration includes a single prime core at 3.25GHz, three performance cores at 3.00GHz, and four efficiency cores at 2.10GHz, paired with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. The tested unit scored 1,612 points in single-core performance and 6,686 points in multi-core tests. The prototype ran with 12GB of RAM and Android 16, making it one of the first devices confirmed to ship with Google’s latest operating system out of the box. Infinix appears to be skipping the GT 40 Pro naming entirely, jumping straight from GT 30 Pro to GT 50 Pro. This move likely stems from tetraphobia in Asian markets, where the number four is considered unlucky due to its phonetic similarity to the word for death in several languages.
