Ethiopia will take an active part in the main BRICS events in 2026, which will be chaired by India. This was stated by India's ambassador to Ethiopia, Anil Kumar Rai, in an exclusive comment to ENA , a partner of TV BRICS.
According to the ambassador, Ethiopia is making a significant contribution to the work of the association and is ready to further share its experience. The country plans to present its achievements in sustainable development, urban renewal and green technologies.

Bilateral cooperation will also receive special attention. Ethiopia and India plan to deepen collaboration in healthcare, agriculture and food security.
"We are ready to share advanced technologies in agriculture. These include effective nano-fertilisers, modern seed technology, food processing technology, and climate-tolerant varieties," the ambassador added.
