Indeed Ireland Faces Job Cuts: What You Need to Know

Recruitment website Indeed has said a "small number" of jobs at its Irish operation are at risk. The company employs more than 1,000 people in Ireland and it is understood staff were informed of the potential redundancies yesterday. Indeed did not say how many roles are expected to be impacted. "To better align our team structure with business priorities, we've reorganised several functions and have sent notifications to a small number of Ireland-based employees regarding their roles," a spokesperson said. In July last year, the parent company of Indeed announced 1,300 global job cuts. In May 2024, Indeed announced 1,000 global layoffs, around 8% of its workforce, which led to around 70 redundancies in Ireland. In April 2023, 225 Irish-based employees at Indeed were also let go as part of 2,200 worldwide job cuts.
