Hilary Duff Stuns in Nude Caped Bodysuit for 18-Year Concert Return

The Gist Hilary Duff made a long-awaited return to the stage with her first show in 18 years in London on January 19. For her encore, she changed into an avant-garde nude bodysuit with a cape and rosette details. The singer wore a textured, sculptural two-piece for the rest of the show. Forget 2016 nostalgia, Hilary Duff is taking us all the way back to 2003. The singer made her long-awaited return to the stage last night, January 19, in the first of her series of "Small Rooms, Big Nerves" tour. The intimate London show was her first on stage headlining concert in 18 years. The singer performed a set list filled with classics as well as a few of her new tracks from the upcoming Luck... or Something album, due to drop on February 20. For her finale, she performed her new single "Mature" followed by fan-favorite, "What Dreams Are Made Of" from 2003's The Lizzie McGuire Movie. In a video shared by Live Nation of the epic encore, she rocked an iconic nude bodysuit with the most unexpected avant-garde details, including an oversized folded cape and giant pale blue crinkled rosettes. Think less Lizzie McGuire, more futuristic runway. She completed the look with knee-high white heeled boots. Earlier in the show, Duff rocked a more casual gray-blue textured two-piece with a corseted top and sculptural folded wide leg pants, along with a stack of Y2K-coded silver bangles. Naturally, Duff was a little nervous for her return to performing. (After all, the clue's in the name of the tour!) She shared a glimpse at her performance prep on her Instagram Stories ahead of the show. Lying on a pillow in a towel, the singer wrote, "Show day. Trying to act normal," before adding, "London you better know it." Duff has already released two singles from her upcoming album. In addition to "Mature," she recently dropped "Roommates," along with a video of her dancing in the rain in a butter yellow dress.
