Harri Davies has joined The Other Songs as head of A&R. Davies, formerly head of A&R at RCA Records UK, brings extensive experience in talent scouting and development. His appointment follows his significant work signing Grammy and BRIT-winning artists at Concord Music Publishing. This move signals The Other Songs' continued growth and focus on independent music.
The Other Songs has recruited Harri Davies to the team as head of A&R.
Most recently serving as head of A&R at RCA Records UK, Davies oversaw a roster featuring Myles Smith, Jade, Charlotte Plank, Tyla and Bring Me The Horizon.
The news of the high-profile appointment for the independent music and entertainment company follows the announcement earlier today that Jerome Porritt has been appointed as RCA head of A&R.
Before joining RCA, Davies spent several years as senior director of A&R at Concord Music Publishing, where he was instrumental in signing multiple Grammy and BRIT-winning artist-writers including Tyla, Chase & Status, Flowdan, Walshy Fire and Imanbek.
Davies began his career as an engineer and producer, a background that has informed his approach to talent development. He secured signings with songwriters and producers such as Sammy Soso, Jake Gosling, Neiked, Biff Stannard, Yoz Beatz and Jin Jin.
Prior to Concord, Davies led the A&R department at the independent publisher Bucks Music Group. There, he managed an eclectic roster including Erol Alkan, Mala, XTC and Roni Size, while overseeing publishing ventures for labels such as RAM Records and Phantasy Sound.
"There has never been a more vital time for independent voices in music,” said Harri Davies. “The Other Songs stands at the forefront of that shift as a progressive, forward thinking company, and joining at such a pivotal moment of growth is incredibly exciting. I look forward to working with Al, Billy and the team to build upon what is already an outstanding period of success."

"Harri is one of the most respected A&Rs in the game,” said Alastair Webber, CEO of The Other Songs. “He has an extraordinary ear for talent with the ability to spot artists and songwriters early and turn them into superstars. What really excites me is that Harri started his career as an engineer and producer, so he truly understands the craft from the ground up. That combination of creative instinct and technical expertise is incredibly rare, and it's exactly what we need as we continue to build something special here. We can't wait to get started."
"Harri Davies brings a huge amount of A&R experience and a vision for the next phase that genuinely excites us and aligns with what The Other Songs stands for,” added Billy Webber, president of The Other Songs. “He has consistently identified talent early, and couples that with strong commercial and marketing judgement."
The news of Harri Davies’ recruitment follows 2025’s expansion of The Other Songs’ team, which saw music industry executives Louis Brown and Raju Watts join as, respectively, general manager and financial director.
In addition, The Other Songs’ founders have stepped into new roles with Billy Webber now serving as president and with Alastair Webber as CEO.
Following eight years in business, it was recently announced that The Other Songs has been appointed to manage the music catalogue of Andrew Lloyd Webber.
