SHAH ALAM: Two people were killed, and two others seriously injured, in a three-vehicle pile-up along the Federal Highway.
Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the accident occurred on Tuesday (Jan 20) at around 4.20am.
In the initial accident, one car had collided with another, leading to the drivers and passengers exiting their respective vehicles.
"The three individuals were standing between their two cars when a third car, a Mercedes driven by a 31-year-old male, failed to avoid the area and crashed into them.
"The resulting crash killed two people and seriously injured two others, including the Mercedes driver," he said in a statement on Wednesday (Jan 21).
Blood and urine samples have been taken from the injured driver for further investigation.
“Both survivors are currently being treated at the Shah Alam hospital.
“The injured driver suffered a broken leg and is currently hospitalised,” he said.
