"Another life lost to our streets and homelessness. Our thoughts are with this woman's family and friends. Rest in peace."
Heartbroken followers also offered their condolences. One woman said: "Rip. God bless the family at this hard time. When the hell is this homeless crisis being sorted? It's heartbreaking."
Another added: "Rest in peace Tasha. You're going to be missed so much. Shocked I am to hear about your passing. May you get the best bed in heaven, look over your two boys and family through this hard time. Rest easy friend."
Another homeless charity, A Lending Hand, also paid tribute to Natasha while criticising the government for not doing more to end the housing crisis. They wrote: "Natasha died trying to keep herself safe when the state should be providing emergency accommodation that is fit and safe for humans and not forcing women to take their chances in freezing conditions in a tent."
They added: "We hope your soul is free from all the pain you have endured. Rest in peace our lovely Natasha."
A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardai and emergency services responded to a medical incident which occurred at Pearse Street, Dublin 2, on 16 January 2026 at approximately 12.30pm.
"A woman, aged in her 40s, was taken to St James' Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The local Coroner has been informed."
