Last week, Jonathan Anderson officially added Josh O’Connor to his growing roster of Dior ambassadors. Today, that list expands again with the announcement of Drew Starkey. Drew and Anderson’s relationship has been building for some time. They first worked together when Drew appeared in Loewe’s Spring 2025 campaign during Anderson’s tenure at the house. That collaboration deepened through Anderson’s ongoing partnership with director Luca Guadagnino. Anderson designed the wardrobe for Queer, and the subsequent press tour saw Drew and the cast dressed exclusively in Loewe, creating a clear visual throughline between film, fashion, and persona. While Drew’s standout look last year came courtesy of Valentino at the 2025 SAG Awards, 2026 will mark a noticeable shift. As we know, ambassador contracts are no longer as rigid as they once were, but this appointment signals a strong alignment with Dior as Anderson continues to shape the house’s menswear direction. In a statement, Anderson said that the actor “stands out for his risk-taking, charisma and integrity,” qualities he sees as reflecting both Dior and his own approach to the brand.
