Deepinder Goyal Appointed Vice Chairman of Zomato's Parent Company Eternal

In a major board-level reshuffle on Wednesday (January 21, 2026), Deepinder Goyal has been appointed as the Vice Chairman and Director on the Board of Eternal Ltd (Formerly known as Zomato Limited) effective upon shareholders’ approval. The online delivery firm, which operates food delivery unit Zomato ‌and quick ‌commerce firm Blinkit, reported a ‍sequential rise in third-quarter profit on ‍surging demand for quick-delivery services. Mr Dhindsa, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blinkit, sets the vision and leads product development, while overseeing strategy. Before founding Blinkit, Mr Dhindsa served as the head of international expansion at Zomato, where he was responsible for the company’s global expansion strategy. In 2013, Mr. Dhindsa, along with Saurabh, founded Blinkit. Profit rose two-fold to 1.02 billion rupees ($11.12 million) for the quarter ended December 31, ⁠up from 650 million rupees ​in the previous quarter.
