Counter War: The Future Unleashed: Sci-Fi Shooter Chaos Hits China

Tencent Games has launched its sci-fi shooter title, Counter War: The Future (Nizhan Future), now available on Android, iOS, and PC in China. Previously known as NZ Mobile, the game revealed a trailer in 2022 before opening pre-registration in 2024, followed by two tests in March and September 2025. Team up with others to beat zombies or jump in fun mech battles Counter War: The Future is a sci-fi mecha PvE shooter title set in the year 2071 and serves as a sequel to Assault Fire/Counter War (Nizhan). Here, you can team up with friends to mow down waves of zombie bosses using machine guns, lasers, and even grenades while also enjoying the Unreal Engine 5 visuals. I honestly feel this is one of those action titles that won’t bore us easily since every game mode looks fun. Like if you find killing zombies in Hunting Ground feel repetitive, you can just indulge in the Tower Defense mode by deploying troops and traps. Personally, Mech Wars and Time-Space Hunting are the modes I’ll play the most. I just hope the global launch is around the corner as I want to experience the tower defense mechanics and especially the new 4v4 PvE racing mode. Now include the seasonal system, top-tier firearms, stunning visuals, cross-platform support, and more, this one surely has massive potentials. Counter War: The Future (Nizhan Future) is now available on both Android and iOS in China. You can now download the game via the App Store or TapTap China for Android.
